Actor David Arquette is known for his roles in films like Scream and Eight Legged Freaks . He’s been a professional wrestling champion (yes, really), started a clothing line with musician Ben Harper (Propr), and married a famous “Friend” (Courtney Cox). Now, he is filling yet another role – as that of the chairman of Feeding America’s Entertainment Council. Feeding America is a charity fighting against domestic hunger. I blogged about green models the other day, but I intentionally skipped over Lauren Bush. Lauren, the granddaughter of former President George H. W. Bush and the niece of former President George W. Bush, is both a model and fashion designer. As you might imagine, Lauren was born in Texas. She graduated from The Kindaid School in Houston then studied fashion design at Parsons The New School for Design and Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design. October 24th is Food Day

Tomorrow is Food Day. What is Food Day you might ask. Food Day was instituted by the Center for Science in the Public Interest (CSPI). The day was established 34 years ago, but has been on a hiatus. However, now reinstated, the CSPI hopes to raise awareness of how our food supply has become industrialized. CSPI also hopes people will see that many of us have unhealthy diets. Voting for PETA’s Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities of 2010 is still open. I read on Facebook that octogenarian Cloris Leachman, apparently not to be outdone by that minx Betty White, is currently one of the forerunners in the contest. Who will 2010’s winners join as sexy vegetarian celebrities? Newly single Shania Twain won in 2001, the first year the contest was held.
