PETA Takes on Kim Kardashian, Resurrects Bea Authur

While the Humane Society is busy trying to get McDonald’s to use cage-free hen raising practices, PETA is continuing to fight other battles. The battle this week is with reality star Kim Kardashian. PETA Supports Pamela Anderson; Goes After Ringling Bros. Circus Again

If you watched the first elimination show of this season’s “Dancing with the Stars,” you may have been surprised to see Pamela Anderson in the bottom two. While I admit her dancing was a bit more risqué than the other dancers, I certainly didn’t think she deserved to be on the bottom, especially with people like Buzz Aldrin (who has since been eliminated) and Kate Gosselin still in the competition. Ringling Bros. Fires Back at PETA

Yesterday, I blogged about PETA releasing photos and videos that reportedly showed mistreatment of baby elephants by Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus employees. PETA has also been protesting at elementary schools before the circus comes to town, trying to encourage students and parents to stay away. It took an Ellie mascot with a bloody bandage to August Circle Elementary in Greenville, So. Carolina in early February.
